Overview:
We are looking for an experienced freelance linguist to take on a key quality control role for our Latvian language team. This opportunity involves reviewing and assessing linguistic quality, supporting MTPE workflows, and ensuring excellence across all Latvian content.
About the Role:
As a quality lead, you will evaluate and revise translations for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client expectations. The ideal candidate is a native Latvian speaker with strong experience in localization, translation quality assessment, and machine translation post-editing (MTPE). You will play a central role in maintaining linguistic standards across projects.
Requirements:
• Native Latvian speaker with excellent language skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in translation and quality assessment (English to Latvian)
• Background in localization and revision
• Interest and experience in MTPE workflows
• Willingness to complete a short (unpaid) trial test
