We’re currently looking for native Welsh linguists to join an exciting long-term localization collaboration for one of our regular clients in the tech industry.

Overview:

Acclaro is building a team of experienced freelance Welsh linguists for ongoing MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing) projects for one of our long-term clients. The work will involve translating and post-editing a variety of technical and marketing content from English into Welsh.
All projects are performed in Phrase, and full training and support will be provided.

About the Role:

As a linguist on this project, you will post-edit and refine machine-translated content, ensuring high linguistic accuracy, clarity, and consistency with client-specific terminology and tone. The work requires attention to detail, strong linguistic skills, and experience working with technical and marketing materials.
This is a long-term collaboration offering steady freelance work for qualified linguists.

Requirements:

• Native Welsh speaker with excellent command of English
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional translation or post-editing experience
• Proven experience in technical and/or marketing content
• Comfortable performing both full and light post-editing (MTPE and LPE)
• Willing to complete a short, unpaid trial test
